Get a Taste of Hillcrest at annual food tasting soiree
Treat your taste buds to the cuisines of more than three dozen restaurants at the 17th annual Taste of Hillcrest on Saturday. The eclectic neighborhood of quaint cafes, French and Italian-style bistros and five-star dining will welcome visitors to sample signature bites like pad Thai, sashimi, Italian antipasto and classic American comfort food. Along the culinary journey, you’ll encounter beer tastings and, if you need to take a break, Rich’s Nightclub at 1051 University Ave., will serve as the refresher station for attendees to stop and have a drink before hitting the street again. Free shuttle service will be available to participants, including service for anyone with accessibility needs. You can request an ADA shuttle during the event by texting (619) 818-8897. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes.
