Do you love everything about summertime grilling except for the actual work of grilling? Luckily, for those who can’t stand the heat, the Grill at Torrey Pines has you covered.

Kicking off April 10, the “Playing with Fire” dinner series from Executive Chef Jeff Jackson will heat things up with a patio party that includes local brews and wood-fired dishes from The Grill’s custom-built, outdoor rotisserie.

The second Monday of each month will feature a different chef from some of San Diego’s top restaurants. The current lineup includes:

April 10: Jason Knibb of Nine-Ten

May 8: Matt Gordon or Urban Solace, and Solace and the Moonlight Lounge

June 12: Trey Foshee from George’s at the Cove, and Galaxy Taco

Tickets for the event, which takes place from 5:30-7:30 p.m., are $40 per person and can be purchased at LodgeTorreyPines.com. Space is limited, so make sure to reserve your spot. Check online for additional dates and chefs to be added.
