Tiki look: The Grass Skirt launches Sunday brunch
Calling all brunch-goers: here is a new restaurant to add to the list. Starting April 15, The Grass Skirt, a tiki-themed restaurant in Pacific Beach, extends its hours to include a brunch menu.
Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski introduces Southeast Asian-inspired brunch dishes like a green papaya salad, the Fiji albacore bowl, tender belly pulled pork sliders and a smoked salmon rice bowl.
As any bruncher knows, it’s not brunch without drinks. Beverage Director Steven Tuttle shakes up some tropical cocktails including the Lychee Li, mixed with gin, lychee, lemon, pineapple and peychaud bitters; and the Good Morning Vietnam, blended with Trinidad rum, coconut rum, coffee liqueur, French roast and condensed milk.
Tiki Sunday brunch will be offered every Sunday from 11 a.m. through 3 p.m. beginning April 15.
