Seasonal menus to crush after
Fall is in the air at several San Diego restaurants as they update their menus to reflect the new season.
The Nolen’s new cocktail and food menus showcase fall flavors, including pumpkin, apple and rosemary. New bites include queso fundido served with warm baguette slices, blistered shishito peppers and roasted cauliflower steak. New drinks include the Pimpkin, made with bourbon, amaro, pumpkin pureé, fresh lemon and stout reduction; Holy Mole, made with Reposado Tequila, ginger liqueur, orgeat syrup, unfiltered apple juice, draft stout and firewater; and Rosemary’s Garden, a mix of aged rum, rosemary syrup, Coco López and fresh lime.

Bobboi Natural Gelato has introduced three new fall flavors to its lineup. The limited-time offerings include pure brown turkey fig, pumpkin amaretto and Santa Ysabel apple pie, named after the mountain town of Santa Ysabel near Julian.

Kettner Exchange chef Brian Redzikowski has added new fall and winter dishes to the menu, including Beijing duck, bone marrow, Thai sausage, egg yolk ravioli, chicken teriyaki and a Snickers sundae.

OH! Juice debuted a new line of fall juices with flavors of pumpkin, pomegranate and butternut squash. Guests will also find new food items like pumpkin butternut squash soup and Thanksgiving leftovers toast, a savory lunch option, with sage-garlic mushrooms on top of a butternut-squash spread and drizzled with balsamic.

Coasterra has added brunch to its menu lineup with dishes like carnitas chilaquiles, vegan hash tacos and chef favorites like barbacoa short rib hash and tres leches French toast. Open 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.
