Party underground at the Florent pop-up event

All things art, culture, cocktails and fashion will collide at Florent on Wednesday, May 18 at 8 p.m. The restaurant, nestled in the heart of the Gaslamp, will host the pop-up event with help from LUCKIE.

Guests can get their very own henna tattoo, witness live paintings, hear house music from DJ LANNAb and drink quality cocktails -- all in the basement level of Florent. This historic building and basement, located in the old City Hall building, was once a jail cell and is now a hip, must-see space.

Shop the jewelry collection of Sarah Barger, a unique stone, crystal and handcrafted jewelry designer, or find solace from the sun at The Dome Piece booth, who make up-cycled vintage hats locally in San Diego. Also present at the party will be Jared Lazar, a Southern California-based surf-inspired artist and adventure lifestyle brand, Adho Mukha Athletica.

Enjoy all-night happy hour featuring $6 snacks from the restaurant while you peruse the various vendors and get down to live music. The event is free to attend. The next pop-up event in this series will return on Wednesday, June 15.
