New Industry Monday Brunch at Firehouse

Share

Why didn’t we think of this first? In retrospect, it’s pretty obvious. If Wednesday is the new Friday, and Sunday is the new Saturday, then Monday must be the official day for recovery brunch. Well, for the local industry crew that is. You see, these hard-working party people are slaving away behind the bar and DJ booth every Friday and Saturday night, so they choose an alternative schedule for blowing off some steam. Industry Wednesdays at Side Bar and Industry Sundays at Bar West are all the rage in this nightlife-centric city, and now these people finally have a place to chill and refuel come Monday.

Firehouse American Eatery + Lounge is launching new Industry Monday Brunch, with discounts of up to 25% off all food with industry pay stub or business card. You can also pair your cheap grub with $15 champagne bottles and $20 Bloody Mary carafes, from 11am to 3pm.

To refresh your memory, Firehouse serves a delicious daily brunch menu with everything from egg scrambles to classic breakfast plates, breakfast burritos, French toast, and light options for the calorie-conscious. A few must-try items include the Pecan Crusted French Toast, anglaise dipped brioche bread covered in candied pecans and fresh berry syrup, served with two eggs any style and your choice of sugar cured bacon or country sausage; New York Steak Hash, New York Strip, country potatoes, peppers, onions and pepper jack cheese, topped with two eggs of your choice and horseradish cream, served with toast; and the House Breakfast Burrito, two scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and your choice of bacon, ham or sausage, stuffed in a flour tortilla and prepared “wet” with ranchero sauce inside and out, topped with more cheese and guacamole, and served with country potatoes.

Aside from the foodie perks, Firehouse is a go-to brunch spot for its oceanfront location and laidback vibe, often with DJs spinning all afternoon. Recline and relax on the bright red day beds, or hop up and dance to the beat. Caution: your innocent brunch may turn into a rowdy day-party that continues well into the night.
