Greg Koch leads Stone dinner on Jan. 13

A pint of beer paired with a gourmet meal

An ice-cold brew and delicious food sounds like a bad call, said no beer-lover ever. Enjoy a special five-course Stone dinner pairing at Real Bar & Bistro on Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Each course will be paired with a specific brew designed to fit perfectly with the gourmet food options.

Course 1: Stone Delicious IPA paired with poached prawns with sunflower “sand,” beach herbs and citrus.

Course 2: Stone 20th Anniversary Encore Series: 08.08.08 Vertical Epic Ale paired with bay scallops, apple, whey butter and radish.

Course 3: Stone Cali-Belgique IPA paired with halibut, sprouted lentils, pickled turnips, pine nuts and pine nut milk.

Course 4: Stone Xocoveza For The Holidays & New Year paired with short rib, barley congee, charred fennel, braised Stone Farms greens

Course 5: Matt’s Burning Rosids Imperial Cherrywood-Smoked Saison paired with smoked chocolate mousse, poached pear, honeycomb and seaweed.
