Drink for a Cause at Fleming’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Share

Many creative businesses have launched benevolent promotions in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month , encouraging locals to embrace San Diego lifestyle for a great cause this October.

Thirsty locals will be happy to hear that Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a special cocktail and wine selection. Translation: all you have to do is drink up in style, and Fleming’s will donate proceeds to two breast cancer-related charities.

If you’re a craft cocktail connoisseur who is also calorie-conscious, we recommend ordering The Stiletto, a 99-calorie cocktail made with Hendrick’s Gin, Monin Sugar Free Syrup and lime juice. This pure and simple cocktail is available exclusively during October, and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.

If you prefer fine wine to handcrafted spirits, opt for a glass of Cline Cashmere. Cline Cashmere is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre that was named for its velvety structure. It is said to be a very flavorful, smooth wine that offers big cherry, raspberry and chocolate notes with hints of cracked black pepper and plum. Best of all, Cline Cellars will make a donation of $25,000 to the Living Beyond Breast Cancer organization in conjunction with the sale of Cline Cashmere at Fleming’s this October.

So you’re thinking these charity spirits must come with a big price tag? Not this time. How does $6 sound? Both The Stiletto and Cline Cashmere are featured on the Fleming’s “5 for $6 ‘til 7” bar menu, which includes a selection of five appetizers, five cocktails and five wines by the glass, all for just $6 from 5 to 7pm in the bar. The Fleming’s bar menu is one of the best happy hour deals in town, and now it’s for a great cause.
