Creamistry makes a liquid nitrogen blast in San Marcos
Doctors may not always agree that ice cream is good for you, but maybe this scientific ice cream will have them changing their minds.
Creamistry, a futuristic ice cream company that makes customizable frozen dessert in front of your eyes, is opening on Friday, March 3 in San Marcos. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., customers can enjoy free single servings of custom ice cream at the new location.
Since opening its first location in 2013, Creamistry has created a unique experience for customers and ice cream enthusiasts. While customers decide on their unique flavor combinations, trained “Creamologists” use liquid nitrogen to freeze ice cream instantly. Traditional ice cream may now have some competition.
A percentage of the proceeds from the grand opening will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of San Marcos. Doors open at noon, and the first 200 guests will receive free t-shirts.
