Celebrate National Chicken Wing Day at Wings-N-Things

In celebration of National Chicken Wing Day, Wings-N-Things will offer a special buy-one-get-one-free deal on Wednesday, July 29.

On National Chicken Wing Day, Wings-N-Things customers who purchase one bone-in Single Meal with a fountain drink will receive a second bone-in Single Meal with a fountain drink for free.

The meals are served with Wings-N-Things’ famous hand-rolled breadsticks, celery and carrots and a choice of homemade ranch or blue cheese dressings.

Customers can have their wings tossed in any of Wings-N-Things’ 10 signature sauces, which include buffalo style, garlic, original barbecue, honey barbecue, lemon pepper or sweet chili sauces.

Founded in 1982 by a family of authentic New Yorkers, this family-owned and operated chain serves the San Diego and Temecula areas with 16 locations as well as a Petco Park stand.

Wings-N-Things is routinely voted “Best Wings” in local polls, thanks to its commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients - including fresh, all-natural chicken that’s never frozen - resulting in sumptuous wings that are tender, juicy and delicious.

“We use fresh, never frozen, chicken and have been voted ‘Best Wings’ in every local poll, including the last two years running in the U-T’s ‘Best Of’,” said Sam Sacco, one of the founders of Wings-N-Things. “So, what better place to celebrate chicken wings on National Chicken Wing Day?!”

In addition to its famous chicken wings, Wings-N-Things also serves up a dazzling array of specials and local favorites, such as Buffalo Chicken Pizza Sticks, which are hand-rolled breadsticks topped with Wings-N-Things signature buffalo sauce, melted cheese and boneless buffalo chicken; and Buffalo Chicken Fries, a mound of crispy, fresh-cut fries topped with melted cheese and boneless buffalo chicken, and finished with a chipotle ranch dressing. The Wings-N-Things menu also features delicious buffalo chicken, Greek and garden salads, and sides such as natural-cut french fries or veggies with dip.

Celebrated annually on July 29, National Chicken Wings Day was founded in 1977 by Stan Makowski, the then mayor of Buffalo, New York.
