Cafe Gratitude celebrates its first birthday

Share

It’s already been almost a year since one of our favorite vegan spots, Cafe Gratitude, opened doors in Little Italy. To celebrate, they are hosting a big community “We Are One” block party.

The festivities will kick off nearby Cafe Gratitude, on the corner of Kettner and Fir streets on Sunday, July 31 from 1 to 5 p.m. The free event will feature a giant foam bubble party, courtesy of Dr. Bronner’s All-One Magic Foam Experience. There will also be a 15-foot mobile learning farm providing kids with crafts and fun activities throughout the event.

Live local music will be provided and onsite screen printing for shirts and tote bags will be available for those who want a crafty event memento. Attendees can also get a special henna tattoos, as well.

Several local vendors will also be there showing their support for the restaurant, including Living Tea Kombucha, Cafe Virtuoso , Yoga Loft, Boochcraft and Specialty Produce.

There will be a plant-based (of course!) cake cutting ceremony outdoors to ring in the year of good food and good times.
