The Great American Foodie Fest is back

If your true passion is finding the next best food delicacy, be it mouthwatering BBQ, custom cupcakes or top-notch ramen dishes, you’ll want to get to The Great American Foodie Fest, returning to San Diego on Friday, July 8 through Sunday, July 10

The foodie-friendly fest will offer attendees the taste of over 50 of the nation’s top food trucks and food vendors. Many of the participating vendors have been seen or highlighted on The Food Network, Travel Channel and Cooking Channel and are of “celebrity” status.

Some of this year’s participants include Middle Feast Food Truck, which won season five of “The Great Food Truck Race” on Food Network; Phil The Grill BBQ, featured on “Chopped”; and Devilicious, also featured on “The Great Food Truck Race.”

While you enjoy the plentiful options of food and drink across the festival, there will also be live entertainment to help keep you groovin’ through the night. If a brew sounds like your ideal beverage to pair with these delicious eats, head to the beer garden to enjoy a variety of specialty beers on tap. There will also be carnival rides, eating competitions, arts and crafts vendors, retail booths and more.

The fest of food will take place at Qualcomm Stadium from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday annd 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets are $10 for a weekend pass in advance; $12 at the door. All food and drink items can be purchased at individual prices at each booth. Parking will be free for all festival attendees.
