With summer quickly approaching, there isn’t much to “wine” about. The sun is out, people are happy and San Diego Urban Wine Week is returning.

From June 1 to June 10, over a dozen urban wineries throughout the county will host events and offer drink specials to the public.

The week will “kick off and wine down” with Sip the City Festivals that allow guests to taste different local wines and meet winemakers.

Throughout the week, a variety of events will be hosted in Carlsbad, Vista, Solana Beach, Carmel Mountain, Escondido, North Park and Ocean Beach. While each event varies, guest can expect to enjoy live music, trivia nights, cellar tours and much more.

The kick-off Sip the City Festival will be hosted from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 1 at The Headquarters at Seaport Village, and the finale will be on June 10 at The Maple Street Plaza in Escondido. Tickets for these 21+ events are $25.
