A taste of Spain returns to the Embarcadero
Spain may be a few thousand miles away, but its flavors are touching down at the Embarcadero.
On Saturday, May 13, more than 50 paella chefs and dozens of local wineries, tequilerias and breweries will come together for the 3rd Annual Paella Wine & Beer Festival.
From 1- 6 p.m., guests will have unlimited tastings of Spain’s famous saffron-infused dish that will be offered in vegan, vegetarian, seafood and meat variations, as well as a giant paella that will feed 1,000 attendees. Paella chefs from around the world will compete for the titles of “Best Paella Valencia,” “People’s Choice,” “Best Paella in the Cali-Baja Region” and “Best Next Paella in the Cali-Baja Region.” To accompany their dishes, guests also will be offered unlimited beer and wine tastings.
Tickets are $40-$125 for this 21+ event.
