Lemon Zest & Garlic Fest debuts this weekend
A brand new foodie festival is joining the mix in San Diego this weekend. The Lemon Zest & Garlic Fest is set to debut on Saturday, July 18 at the Waterfront Park from noon to 5 p.m.
Lemon and garlic-infused dishes will abound, alongside a beer garden, live entertainment, a tasting competition and activities for all ages.
Attendees will have the opportunity to taste from a variety of restaurants and cast their vote for “best dish.” Vendors at the fest will include Spike Africa’s Fresh Fish Grill & Bar, Le Parfait Paris, The Kebab Shop, Leucadia Liscious Artisan Sorbet, Souplantation, Roy’s Famous Chocolate Popcorn, George’s Fish Bucket, Blendees, Aviator Almonds, Brigantine Seafood and Oyster Bar, Corner Bakery Cafe, Haritna Mediterranean Restaurant, Spacebar Internet Cafe, Jerky’s Gourmet, Miguel’s Cocina, Rideout Bristro Oils, The London Bakery, Rubicon Deli, The Primitive Waffle, The Safe House Restaurant Pike and Sons Candy Company, Lil Miss Short Cakes and Fuddrucker’s.
A $65 ticket includes unlimited food, beer and wine. A VIP $75 ticket allows guests to sample the dishes first with early admittance from 11 a.m. to noon. For more information, visit lzgfsd.com.
