Latin Food Fest returns for a grande tasting

The fourth annual Latin Food Fest features tastings, culinary demonstrations, a kickoff party, and a private chef’s dinner.

The Grande Tasting events are Saturday and Sunday and include new dishes from local Latin restaurants and chefs, along with Cuban music by Amistad Cuba. The culinary pavilion on these two days will be home to cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs (including Claudia Sandoval, winner of the sixth season of “MasterChef”; Aron Schwartz, Alejandra Schrader of season two of “MasterChef”; Mario Medina; and Christine Rivera), the Michelada bar and contest, neat and mixed tastings in the Spirits of the Americas tent, and a number of stations with food, wine and other drinks.
