Kick it with Phil’s Big BBQ at the Ballpark

The grills will be fired up for the eighth annual Phil’s Big BBQ at the Ballpark with proceeds from the event benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Operation Bigs military mentoring program this Sunday.

Last year, the event raised nearly $81,000 with just shy of 3,000 attendants. This year, with a Kid Ventures kid zone, live music from Morgan Leigh Band and a beer garden, organizers hope to raise $100,000.

Included in the standard ticket price is also Phil’s “Best of Both” Chicken and ribs, two sides, a beverage and a ticket to the afternoon’s Padres game. Upgraded VIP tickets include Field Pavilion Padres tickets, two drink tickets, VIP entrance, priority food line and VIP seating area with bar access.
