All month: Devil’s Dozen

October is a month of surprises at Devil’s Dozen in Little Italy as Chef Paula Alvarez will be showcasing specialty Halloween donuts. Some of these flavors include Dark Chocolate Mandarin, Caramel Apple and Matcha Frankenstein. In addition, a top secret flavor will be introduced each week.

Enjoy the seasonal Smashing Pumpkin cocktail, made with pumpkin and star anise-infused rum, Grand Marnier, St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, saffron syrup, cardamom bitters and fresh Meyer lemon.

The Devil’s Exchange is a Halloween-themed, five-course dining experience located on the rooftop of Devil’s Dozen Donuts. Kettner Exchange Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski and Chef Nick DeVries will be hosting the festivities.

Sally’s Fish House & Bar is hosting a Halloween costume contest for four-legged friends. Come celebrate Hyatt Hound’s second birthday with happy hour pricing on food and drinks at this free event celebration. 20 percent of restaurant proceeds go to the nonprofit Rancho Coastal Humane Society for donation.

The Spooky Smoked Fig cocktail is on the menu at Rancho Bernardo Inn’s signature restaurant, AVANT. Available throughout Halloween week, the smoky cocktail includes Maker’s Mark whiskey, fig and rosemary syrup, with a charred smoking rosemary sprig on top.
