Science isn’t just for kids
When you raise a glass to toast, have you ever wondered how the spirits that fill your cup came to be?
Thanks to the 21+ side of the San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering, it’s time to look behind the curtain of spirit making and learn a thing or two about the process of distilling.
From 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, adults 21+ are invited to explore Cutwater Spirits’ 30,000-square foot production facility in Miramar. The evening will include the science behind the spirits process, fun science facts and some Cards Against Humanity.
The event is hosted by Biocom’s Life Science Young Leaders along with the Fleet Science Center, and is seen as an opportunity to prove STEM education isn’t just for kids.
