Eschew dyed-green lagers for this brilliantly refreshing session ale, the antithesis to nitrogenized Guinness (though there’s a house Irish stout if you’re into that sort of thing).

O’SULLIVAN BROS. OUR FATHER’S STOUT

Bless us, father, for we need beer! It will soon be St. Patrick’s Day, after all, and what better place to spend it than downing suds at San Diego’s very own Irish-themed brewery. Owned by an Eire-y clan, this neighborhood spot specializes in dark beers, including this sultry, chocolaty brew, which took a silver medal at last year’s San Diego International Beer Festival. More in the mood for a Bohemian Pilsner? They’ll debut one March 17... right before their annual kilt contest.
