Unique Chocolate Festival at SD Botanic Garden
The annual Chocolate Festival on Saturday is expected to draw crowds to the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas.
Festivities include chocolate delicacies created by 12 chocolate artisans along with two demonstrations on creating chocolate confections. Samples of edibles made from the ground beans of the Theobroma cacao will also be sold.

A Kidzone will be open where children can make crafts and gifts for Mother’s Day.
The festival is from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the garden, 230 Quail Gardens Drive in Encinitas.
The event is free with paid admission to the garden or membership. Tastings are $1-3.
