Rise and grind at the Caffeine Crawl San Diego
Holidays have you in a slump? The fourth annual Caffeine Crawl San Diego is returning to snap you out of it, buzz you up with local brews and encourage you to explore new cafes in the new year.
Taking place Jan. 20-22 in Carlsbad, Oceanside and central San Diego, the Caffeine Crawl currently has more than 25 participating roasters and shops. This is no ordinary taste-and-stroll. 10 route options offer coffee-enthusiasts the chance to select from various adventures. Make your way through Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, Dark Horse, Cafe Virtuoso and more hidden gems.
On Friday, Jan. 20, two routes will depart from North County at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively. On Saturday, Jan. 21, six routes depart throughout the day around San Diego. On the last day of the crawl, Ryan Bros. Coffee will host a meet-and-greet breakfast event with Suja Juice and Earnest Eats. For a complete schedule, visit caffeinecrawl.com.
A ticket includes a drink sample and short, educational presentation at each spot, plus goodie bags full of caffeinated surprises. Many of the routes are bike-able or walkable, but participants are welcome to drive, too.
Tickets cost between $28 and $36, depending on the route. Find more information at caffeinecrawl.com.
