Okay, San Diego. We know that you aren’t particularly spoiled with quality BBQ, which is what makes this sunny, post-race event one that you don’t want to miss. The public can vote for their favorite BBQ option after tasting the delicious meats, one of which will be awarded the People’s Choice Champion award.
Some of the competition styles include brisket, pork, ribs, chicken and steak. The dishes and be purchased from 1 to 5 p.m.
Local craft beer will be on tap to pair with your samples. There will also be live music to groove to while you grub down on quality BBQ.

The dishes will be reviewed through a blind-judge system and with a weighted scoring index to determine the most deserving and talented BBQ-master.
