91X BeerX Fest brings brews and rock bands
It’s no secret that local radio station 91X has rock music and wild concerts down pat.
For the second year in a row, they’re taking a stab at beer fests too, presenting BeerX San Diego on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Taking place in Ingram Plaza at Liberty Station, BeerX will bring in more than 100 craft beers, offering guests unlimited samples (yes, all-you-drink) throughout the evening.
Of course, it’s not a 91X event with some jammin’ tunes. The main stage will feature bands with members prominent in the beer community, including Paul Segura, Brewmaster of R&D at Karl Strauss Brewing Company, and his band Rifftide. Additional performing bands include Zebrahead, and tribute bands Blink 180 True and Green Today.
General admission is $35. VIP tickets are $50 and offer an early entry time of 6 p.m. and access to a VIP lounge.
