28th annual Taste of MainStreet Encinitas is back
Keep your hunger at bay and your taste buds buzzing at the 28th annual Taste of MainStreet Encinitas. The epic foodie fest will return to the streets of Encinitas on Tuesday, August 16.
Over 30 different eateries will be participating in the event, including Bier Garden, Chuao Chocolatier, East Village Asian Diner, Lotus Cafe and Juice Bar, The Taco Stand, Encinitas Fish Shop, Lobster West, Solace and the Moonlight Lounge, UNION Kitchen & Tap, St. Tropez Bakery & Bistro, Suja Juice, Sakura Bana, Lumberyard Tavern, URBN Coal Fired Pizza and several others.
The taste will take place in the evening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Along the way, cleanse your palate with a sip of local craft beer or wine at one of the drink stops around town, offering tastes of The Lost Abbey, Green Flash Brewing Co., Duck Foot Brewing, Culture Brewing Co., Falkner Winery, Danza del Sol Winery, Aztec Brewing Company, Ballast Point Brewing, Thorn St. Brewing and Maddalena wines.
Once your thirsts have been quenched, get ready to groove at one of the several restaurants offering live music for the event. Check out Tropical Breeze at Kealani’s, Linda Berry & John January at Roxy Restaurant, Endangered Speciez at the Lumberyard Courtyard and Jason Matkin at the Encinitas Fish Shop.
