Saint Archer opens new tasting room in Leucadia

Share

Saint Archer Brewing Company has opened a tasting room on North Coast Highway 101 in Leucadia. The 1,200-square-foot room features 30 taps offering the company’s beers and specialty brews not available in stores.

Saint Archer was founded in 2013 by professional skate and surfboarding friends interested in craft beer. Their brewers created the company’s “Core Four” flavors: White Ale, Blonde Ale, Pale Ale and Mosaic IPA.

The new tasting room will pour those as well as rotating brews such as Coffee Cream Porter and Orange Guava IPA. The tasting room will also serve Saint Archer’s limited-edition Tusk & Grain barrel-aged specialties, such as Brandy Imperial Coffee Porter (12.85% ABV) and a Belgian Quad With Spices (13% ABV).

The room offers a modern look, with metal chairs and a tile and concrete bar. A gallery wall features black and white surf and skate photos by Mike Blabac and Tod Glasser. The back corner will sell Saint Archer merchandise as well as other items from local artisans and artists.

The tasting room will host art shows and screenings, and will also partner with nonprofits for special events. Hours are noon-9 p.m. daily. The company also has a main brewery and tasting room in San Diego.
