May the Fourth (and a cold frothy glass of beer) be with you
Jedi masters will celebrate the “Star Wars”-inspired holiday, May the Fourth, at these beer hangouts:
Blind Lady Ale House (3416 Adams Ave., Normal Heights) will screen the original “Star Wars” trilogy and Mel Brooks’ spoof, “Spaceballs!” Automatic, the in-house brewery, will tap kegs of Admiral Akbar and Nerf Herder. 11:30 a.m. to midnight.
“May the Fish Be With You” party at Beerfish (2933 Adams Ave., Normal Heights) will include movie screenings, a specialty cider — ACE Space from ACE California Cider — and souvenir glassware, hoodies and T-shirts. 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Lightsaber battles and a “Star Wars” art gallery will fill Intergalactic Brewing’s tasting room (9715 Carroll Centre Rd., Suite 107, Mira mesa). Bonus: the release of a Death Star-themed triple IPA, That’s No Moon. 4 to 9 p.m.
