Raising a pint for women in brewing
Some celebrated by wearing red, some didn’t go to work, but for the craft beer industry in San Diego, at many breweries, women took center stage for International Women’s Day on March 8. The day happened also to be International Women’s Brew Day, an event started by unitebrew.org, where “the aim of the day is for women who are passionate about beer to get together and brew.”
Here’s a look at some of the women who got shout-outs and much deserved praises.
