POW! Heroes Brew Festival to take over Waterfront Park

“Have no fear, beer is here!”

As Comic-Con crowds become overwhelming and waiting in line becomes exhausting, it may be essential to escape the Convention Center and relax with a cold beer.

On Saturday, July 22, the Heroes Brew Festival will take over Waterfront Park. From 4-8 p.m., guests are invited to soak in the sun and sample more than 50 types of beer from breweries around the country. While sipping, guests can partake in costume contests and augmented reality technology, and can also enjoy featured artists, including JQ Hammer, GMONIK and Lord Mesa.

In between samples, guests can also jam to tunes from DJ FishFonics, DJ Mancat and headliner Kristian Nairn (Hodor from Game of Thrones).

Notable participating breweries include Lagunitas, Culture Brewing Co., Rock Bottom Brewing and many others.

General Admission tickets for this 21+ event are $24 but do not include beer samples. Early Access Unlimited Tasters tickets are $54 and give guests unlimited samples before the event from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Finally, Superhero VIP tickets are $99 for unlimited tastings from 2-8 p.m.
