Got milk? Who cares! Have Girl Scout cookies with beer
A versatile drink, beer pairs well with a smorgasbord of edible treats. Cheese? Naturally. Chocolate? Of course.
Girl Scout cookies? Absolutely. For the third consecutive year, Girl Scouts San Diego is teaming with local breweries for a fundraiser.
During National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, Feb. 24-26, three breweries - Stone, Mike Hess and AleSmith - will pair five beers with five cookies. “Cookies on Tap” flights cost $15, a portion of which will benefit Girl Scouts San Diego.
Unfortunately, there are no plans for a brewing merit badge. For more information about the event, visit sdgirlscouts.org.
