Craft Beer & Cider Fest returns to Del Mar

Share

Craft cider, local beers and gourmet food in the heart of Del Mar? We’re in. The Craft Beer and Cider Festival is back at The Del Mar Racetrack from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28.

Over 100 local and international brews will be on deck and ready to sample. To keep up with all of that good beer, there will be an abundance of ciders and specialty ales as well.

Some of the special beers and ciders in place for tasting are Anderson Wild Valley Turkey Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout by Anderson Valley Brewing Company, Hard Root Beer from Mission Brewing, Santas Little Helper from Port Brewing, Oak Jacked Bourbon Barrel Aged Pumpkin Ale from Uinta Brewing and So Cal Scrumpy from 101 Cider House.

A handful of brewers will be on-site to discuss beer-making with attendees during the event as DJs mix live music from the Seaside Concert Area. Check out the beer merchandise shop while you’re at it, or grab a bite at one of the gourmet food trucks at the venue.

After the festival concludes, Sublime with Rome will be taking the stage at 6 p.m. for the cherry on top of a brew-filled afternoon.

For $20, you will receive seven tasters of your choice. Event-goers can also purchase individual beers and ciders to sip on. Entry into the beer garden and concert are free with racetrack admission. Race gates will open at 11 a.m.
