Take it from the tap: A peachy brew

Beer: Peach Cruiser

From: Coronado Brewing Company

Why: Here’s a summery riff on a San Diego standard: Take a West Coast style IPA, with Mosaic, Citra and Azacca hops, then add bushels of peach puree. Citrus and melon notes blend with stone fruit juiciness for an ale that’s ideal for balmy June evenings.

Geeking out: 6.8% ABV; 65 IBUs (International Bittering Units).

Seeking out: Look for Peach Cruiser in local retailers, plus CBC’s original location (170 Orange Ave., Coronado); the Imperial Beach restaurant (875 Seacoast Dr., Imperial Beach); and the San Diego tasting room (1205 Knoxville St., Morena District).
