Coming to a head
SR76 BEER WORKS
Harrah’s Southern California Resort is now home to San Diego County’s first tribal-owned brewing company. Take a break from craps, keno and one-armed bandits at this brewpub’s spacious tasting room (offering a 25-foot bar and plush seating) or get your blonde, pale ale or IPA to-go and enjoy it by the pool. Named for Valley Center’s main transportation artery, SR76’s brews will incorporate specialty ingredients sourced from the immediate area.

URGE COMMON HOUSE
North County’s successful family of Urge Gastropub restaurants is adding a third location, and it’ll be anything but common. A hospitality cornerstone of the new North City development just north of Cal State San Marcos, this massive indoor/outdoor eatery will include a satellite brewery for the chain’s Mason Ale Works beer-making arm and will be further fortified with three bars - including one devoted to celebrating the White Russian (don’t worry, not Putin) - bowling lanes and bocce-ball courts.
