Comic-Con fans want their craft beer
After a long day of walking the show floor at Comic-Con, most of the crowd looks forward to getting out into San Diego’s excellent nightlife scene. Downtown is packed to the gills with every comic-book-loving, cosplay hero you could imagine. It’s one of the things that makes this the most-revered, must-attend convention in our city’s history.
But let’s be honest: It does get a bit packed in the Gaslamp District, and if you’re a veteran of Comic-Con, you’re probably yearning to do something different than in years past. Well, look no further than the Heroes Brew Fest. Now in its third year, the festival has moved its location to The Loma Club at ultra-hip Liberty Station in Point Loma. The Loma Club was originally part of the historic San Diego Country Club, which merged with A.G. Spalding’s Point Loma Golf Club in 1914 to create a San Diego landmark that has been a staple for more than a century.

The cause
Proceeds raised from Heroes Brew Fest benefits the Warrior Foundation - Freedom Station. As a 100 percent volunteer-based organization, the Warrior Foundation strives to be the leading force in assisting, honoring and supporting the military men and women who have so bravely served and sacrificed for our country.
