Cheers to beer: Victory at Sea Day returns to Ballast Point

Share

The third annual “darkest day of the year,” also known as Victory at Sea Day, will return to Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits on Sunday, Dec. 18. The day celebrates all things dark beer, particularly Ballast’s well-loved Imperial Porter, Victory at Sea. Each of the Ballast Point tasting rooms across Southern California will open their doors at 9 a.m. to begin the festivities.

There will be several varieties of the delicious brew available on tap to try. Event-goers can sip on five different four-ounce tasters of their choice with ticket purchase. Some of the Victory at Sea variations include peppermint, maple bourbon, mint cookies, Thai iced coffee, coconut and orange chocolate.

Tickets are $30 per person at each location and includes the tasters, a 2016 Victory at Sea Day Goblet, a Victory at Sea Day sticker and lapel pin and option to buy rare, limited edition Victory at Sea merchandise. Each brewery will also be offering their own special food options for the event including Victory at Sea donuts at the Miramar location, Victory at Sea jerk wings at Little Italy and a breakfast steam bun over at the Temecula location.

This event is 21-and-up only. For more information, including locations and the full event beer list, visit ballastpoint.com
