A Beer & Sake Festival is coming

Share

We certainly have no shortage of beer fests in San Diego. For those who seek something a little sweeter and smoother however, there aren’t too many places where you can try a range of sake all at once.

Enter the Beer & Sake Festival, returning to Harrah’s Resort Southern California for the 14th year. This charity event (yes, you can help the world by drinking) will feature over 100 varieties of sake, local craft beers and appetizers from some of the top chefs in the San Diego region.

Aside from the beverage options, exciting entertainment will fill the scene including Taiko drums, sake barrel breaking, cosplay competition, tuna cutting demonstrations, a silent auction and more.

Proceeds from the fest support The Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana’s numerous educational programs and activities.

The Beer & Sake Festival takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. General admission is $40-$60, while VIP tickets run from $80-$120. The VIP tickets include special sake and appetizers as well as access to the VIP lounge. Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.com.
