This Thursday, March 5, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego will bring back their Thursday Night Thing series from 7 to 10 p.m.

The museum is celebrating the opening of “Gravity and Grace: Monumental Works by El Anatsui” by inviting guests to mingle outdoors on Figi Concourse, the space located between MCASD downtown and the train tracks.

The evening is set to include two live performances by Jimmy LaValle, plus interactive performances and art-making experiences with artist Keenan Harsten and his sound sculptures.

Plus, it’s not a party without food and drink. Green Truck will be on-hand for organic bites, and Stone Brewing Co., 619 Vodka and Euphoric Tequila will supply the booze.

Tickets are free for members, $8 for students and seniors and $10 for non-members. For more information, visit mcasd.org.
