Party at a museum: Spring Thing returns to MCASD
If sipping rum cocktails inside the beautiful Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego sounds like your idea of a great night, you should probably get in on this thing. The Spring Thing: Modern Mutiny will take over the downtown museum from 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday, Mar. 4.
Take part in a curated cocktail reception and art hour upon arrival with the experts of each craft. The session will be followed by dinner put together by Beverage Director Steven Tuttle and Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski of Kettner Exchange. Enjoy a a special, family-style meal set to pair perfectly with handmade rum cocktails at 7:30 p.m.
Go straight from a decadent dinner to unlimited, hosted cocktails provided by Tito’s Handmade Vodka at the Late Night Party, starting at 9:30 p.m. Catch live music performances by Jeffrey Paradise, Wild Wild Wets and DJ Vaughn Avakain to round out your evening of fun. While you party into the wee hours of the night, keep your appetite satisfied with snacks from Nomad Donuts and Starlite. Oh, and if awesome live music isn’t enough for you, there will also be aerial yoga performances to watch by Elka Yoga.
