San Diego restaurant unveils cannabis cocktail

Madison on Park bar manager Danny Kuehner has rolled out his first cannabis cocktail, the Mr. Nice Guy. Priced at $18, the tropical drink is a mixture of mezcal, cannabidiol (CBD) oil, matcha (powdered green tea), pineapple, coconut milk and lime.

Kuehner was interested in CBD oil for its medicinal uses, low to no psychoactive effects, its mood enhancing properties and strong and unique flavor profile.

CBD does not get you high like tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC. The menu states the following description: ***Cannabidiol is an oil cold-pressed from the cannabis plant. Its proven health benefits include anti-anxiety, mood elevation and anti-depressant. We use it for its health benefit and unique flavor profile.
