Did someone say museum party?
It may feel so wrong, but every now and then, it’s totally right to drink, dance and schmooze like a socialite inside a museum.
Culture & Cocktails returns on Thursday, Feb. 5 to the San Diego Museum of Art. This installment of the series takes on Havana Nights with vibrant, lively vibes replete with Old Havana dark rum cocktails, Cuban sandwiches and even a tropical candy station.
Guests can embrace the essence of Havana, Cuba with a roll-your-own cigar station, make-your-own fedora or fruit headpiece spot and take photos in a touch-graffiti photo booth.
DJ Mike Zee will spin Latin music all night, and attendees are encouraged to dress in ruffles, fedoras and island-inspired fashion, all to celebrate The Welcome Gallerie’s Cuban Contemporary Art installation.
End the night over at Panama 66 restaurant for a live performance from Besos de Coco, 8 to 11 p.m.
