Two words: George’s + mezcal
Here’s a sure-fire way to battle the winter blahs: George’s Level2, the newly refashioned bar at George’s at the Cove, will host the latest in its monthly Craft at the Cove cocktail series on Monday night.
Level2’s Stephen Kurpinsky will welcome fellow mixologist Carlos Ochoa - a brand ambassador for El Silencio Mezcal - for an evening of sipping specially made drinks using the Oaxacan mezcal and Mandarine Napoléon, the Cognac and Sicilian mandarin-based booze from Belgium. The cocktails will be priced at $8.
While you’re there, check out Level2’s just-released updated drink menu, featuring wine, local craft brews and 38 new specialty cocktails.
Craft at the Cove: 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Jan. 23, George’s at the Cove, Level2, 1250 Prospect St., La Jolla. 858.454.4244 or georgesatthecove.com; sign up for the guest list on Facebook at bit.ly/2jh2Bo9
