Limited-edition pop-up bar arrives in a retrofitted steamer trunk at Coronado hotel

Loews Coronado Bay Resort gives a nod to travelers of generations past with a new cocktail service — The Bellhop Bar. It’s a retrofitted steamer trunk packed with bespoke beverages stored in antique apothecary-style bottles.

The limited-edition pop-up bar was born out of the success of the brand’s beverage concept, The Traveller Bar, which drew inspiration from “the golden age of the cocktail era.”

The bar will open nightly in the Cays Lounge from 5 to 7 p.m., through mid-January, and will serve two batch-made cocktails and a couple of wine options.

The opening is announced with a bell ringing on the bar.
