Yup, The Rolling Stones played the Belly Up
After The Rolling Stones played a sold-out show at Petco Park Sunday night, rumors began circulating about a second show at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach.
A private affair Wednesday for friends and family of a former HP exec, who reportedly paid $2 million for the band, tickets were not available for the general public Wednesday night.

While we weren’t at the show, our friend, Meryl Klemow of the Belly Up, was on-site and called 102.1 KPRi to discuss.
A giddy Klemow (who was up all night) said: “the show itself was legendary, a life changing experience.”

Even though the show had a “No phones” policy, Klemow was able to sneak a pic of the historic night.

And, a copy of the 17 song setlist which included Stones classics “Start Me Up,” “Brown Sugar,” and “Satisfaction.” For those keeping score, that translates to over $133,000 a song.
