There’s now a beer garden on the Andaz rooftop

We’ve watched a steady flow of changes at Andaz San Diego over the past few years. While the hotel is no longer home to the nightclub debauchery of the past, it has just debuted something we definitely did not see coming: a pop-up beer garden.

On Andaz’s RoofTop600, a daily beer garden will welcome guests beginning at 12 p.m. Locals and tourists are invited, until April, to sip up craft beers from San Diego’s best breweries such as Mike Hess Brewing, Ballast Point and Lightning Brewer, paired with some German inspiration on the food menu that includes pretzels, curry wurst and schnitzel.

The beer garden also features lawn chairs and backyard games like giant Jenga, ping pong, a life-size Connect Four and more.

Let’s not forget about the unbeatable views of the San Diego skyline that the Andaz rooftop has to offer. The hotel has recently relaunched the Andaz Salon events showcasing local artists, musicians, culture and cocktails. For details, visit
