Shave your head for childhood cancer research
St. Baldrick’s Foundation, one of the nation’s leading contributors toward childhood cancer research, returns to take our tresses at the ninth annual St. Baldrick’s Brave-A-Shave for Kids with Cancer.
A shiny, clean-shaven noggin’ isn’t such a bad look when it transforms you into an instant hero.
On Saturday, March 4, The Commons downtown will transform into a good ol’ fashioned barbershop for the event that buzzes heads towards a better, brighter future. From noon to 4 p.m., participants can step in, shave off those locks and make a donation to the foundation that’s raised millions for cancer research.
The head-shaving celebration generates awareness, funds research for childhood cancer and helps survivors live long and healthy lives all through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
A $10 donation at the door will secure admission. A $20 donation at the door will hook you up with a t-shirt and raffle ticket. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the afternoon will go directly to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
The Commons is located at 901 Fourth Ave., downtown. For more information, visit stbaldricks.org.
