No Paint, No Gain
What’s billed as “the world’s largest paint party” returns to San Diego April 27, riding on the heels of last year’s sold-out concert headlined by Showtek and Designer Drugs.
The event was born as a college campus party in 2006 and has since evolved into... well, a bigger, off-campus party. Picture electronic music DJs, but instead of just pulsing lights and sound, the crowd will also be blasted with pink, orange and every other imaginable color of paint.
Life in Color: Rebirth brings the house-music trio Swanky Tunes to the Valley View Casino Center stage, along with stilt walkers, an aerialist and, of course, truckloads of paint to cover the thousands of sticky strangers packing the arena.
Recommended attire is anything and everything white, so the paint splatter really stands out and creates lasting memories... in case no one in the audience can remember a thing the next morning.
