Crawl for a cause through the Gaslamp
Don’t worry, this is NOT an April Fools joke. Hop from bar to bar (five to be exact) during the inaugural Gaslamp Pub Crawl from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, April 1. Not only is this a great chance to sip some cocktails at some of the neighborhood’s top bars, but also 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the Surfrider Foundation.
The crawl will start at Florent Restaurant & Lounge and make its way to Whiskey Girl, Myst Lounge, The Tipsy Crow and end at Bootlegger. Drink specials and swag will be a part of the day’s festivities. Tickets for the event are $40 and can be purchased on eventbrite.com.
The Surfrider Foundation is a nonprofit organization that focuses on protecting the environment, particularly oceans and coastlines. According to the organization’s website, “In 2016, 6,333 volunteers removed 9,399 pounds of debris during beach cleanups in coastal areas of San Diego, capturing it before it could pollute the ocean.”
