Albeit a little off-the-beaten path, cigar lovers, this one is for you. Mosey over to True North Tavern on Wednesday, April 5 for “Mezcal Y Fumar,” featuring a 4-course meal prepared by the chefs of Urban Solace, paired with fine cigars.
The meal will be made especially savory, perfect for pairing with the smokeyness of cigar smoke. Cigar aficionado David Mogliner, of Racine and Laramie Tobacconist in Old Town, will explain the craft in detail to diners at the event. Alongside the meal, enjoy mezcal and cocktails to wet your whistle.
Latin acoustic tunes provided by Israel Maldonado, a San Diego musician known for his unique beat-driven music.
Urban Solace will be responsible for the feasting portion of the evening and mixologist Dan Sutherland will concoct the accompanying cocktails.
