The surf will be a little lower in southern San Diego County. * Tides...High tides will be between 5.5 and 6 feet each evening. * Impacts...This southerly swell will produce strong rip currents and dangerous swimming conditions for inexperienced swimmers. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in the advisory area...producing localized beach erosion and dangerous swimming conditions.
