Peter Hook & The Light 

Hook and his band are performing "Substance," the definitive Joy Division anthology, in its entirety. Expect the legendary musician and author to throw in a few songs from his tenure with New Order as well.

The New Mastersounds 

The Brit funk quartet will release their latest, "The Nashville Sessions," this month on their own One Note Records. They play with Turkuaz, a self-proclaimed "9-piece powerfunk outfit" from Brooklyn, N.Y.

Death Grips 

Live shows from these Sacramento industrial rap punks mimic their albums: aggressive, abrasive, and thoroughly entertaining. Their latest full-length, "Bottomless Pit," was released in May.

FRIDAY

Mat Zo

The Grammy-nominated UK producer and DJ is the son of painter Israel Zohar and violinist Wendy Caron Zohar. His sophomore LP, "Self Assemble," was released in March.

Sleigh Bells 

The duo's fourth LP, "Jessica Rabbit" is their first in three years. It comes out on show day, but you can be sure the Brooklyn-based noise-poppers will be playing plenty of it during their return to SD.

Tritonal 

Partnering with The Chainsmokers on 2015's "Until You Were Gone," the Texas-based duo of David Reed and Chad Cisneros also host a Sirius radio show and released their latest LP, "Painting With Dreams," in September.

Minnesota

Pretty Lights 

Colorado DJ Derek Smith (aka Pretty Lights) hasn't released a full album since 2013, but his latest single, "Only Yesterday," came out in March. Special guest Chris Karns opens the show.

Eric Dlux
